Eid ul-Fitr

Eid ul-Fitr is one of the most important festivals in Islam, marking the end of Ramadan — the holy month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. The word "Eid" means festivity or celebration in Arabic, and "Fitr" means breaking the fast. On this day, Muslims around the world gather for a special prayer (Salat al-Eid) in the morning, give charity (Zakat al-Fitr) to the poor, wear new clothes, exchange greetings of "Eid Mubarak," and share festive meals with family and friends.
